By 2050, one in three French people will be over 60 years old. Faced with this major societal challenge, the KLESIA group and the INCO group's innovation ecosystem launched the Silver AI call for projects in January 2025. Its ambition: to accelerate the development of AI-based solutions to promote autonomy, health, and social connection for seniors.

Following a selection process conducted by a jury of experts and KLESIA employees, ten startups were chosen to join a nine-month support program. This combines strategic monitoring, interprofessional mentoring, specialized training, and access to a network of investors. This cross-acceleration model, mobilizing skills in AI, entrepreneurship, and social action, marks a desire to anchor innovation in real-world contexts.
The selected projects illustrate the diversity of possible approaches to aging. In terms of health and well-being, the chosen projects demonstrate a common desire to rethink prevention, diagnosis, and therapeutic support. AbilyCare relies on sensors and algorithms to early detect motor disorders while Five Lives explores the potential of digital health to slow cognitive decline through targeted brain stimulation tools. Heegee, meanwhile, offers a digital application to relieve pain, optimize sleep, and reduce reliance on medication by combining personalized monitoring and artificial intelligence.
XRay Moov, on its part, offers an innovation with strong operational roots: a mobile medical imaging service capable of performing radiographic and ultrasound exams directly at patients' homes or in nursing homes. A solution that reconciles technical requirements and accessibility by reducing care pathway disruptions.
In the field of home autonomy, solutions such as Senioralis and ANNY by Live Arts aim to streamline care coordination and equip family caregivers by providing them with intelligent support tools.
Other projects place social connection at the heart of their model, such as AlloMamy, which offers personalized phone calls to combat isolation, or Hello Art Up, which develops immersive cultural experiences tailored to nursing home residents. Finally, initiatives like Clic&Moi, focused on digital risk prevention, or Keosense, which stimulates cognitive abilities through screenless games, show that AI can also be used in a gentle prevention and non-intrusive cognitive stimulation logic.
When technology serves humanity
The project leaders and partners of Silver AI are driven by a strong conviction: technological innovation must be a driver of inclusion and solidarity. As Florence Puig, Director of Engagement at KLESIA, emphasizes: "We believe in the positive impact of new technologies on the lives of seniors, and we are proud to support these visionary entrepreneurs."
By putting technology at the service of vulnerability, this initiative is part of a broader trend of structuring the Silver Economy around hybrid models, combining economic logic, social mission, and technological responsibility. It also reflects a cultural shift within companies: an increasing mobilization of employees around impact projects, as evidenced by the voluntary involvement of KLESIA teams in mentoring startups.

Simon BITAUDEAU, Director of INCO incubators in France, concludes:
"Artificial intelligence must be a lever for inclusion. The 10 selected startups show that it is possible to combine technological performance and social impact to meet the great challenges of aging."

To better understand

How does AbilyCare's sensor and algorithm technology detect early motor disorders in seniors?

AbilyCare's sensors continuously monitor seniors' movements and physical behaviors. Coupled with AI algorithms, they analyze this data in real-time to identify specific patterns or anomalies that may indicate emerging motor issues.

What is the Silver Economy and why is it important in the context of technological solutions for seniors?

The Silver Economy is an economic sector focused on creating products and services for seniors, addressing their specific needs in health, autonomy, and social inclusion. It's crucial as it drives technological innovation to enhance the quality of life for the elderly, a growing demographic group.
